Pune: Students from G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune, have earned a place among the Top 105 Global Teams in the highly competitive Google Developer Student Clubs – GDSC Solution Challenge 2025.
This recognition underscores GHRCEM’s continued emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and technology for social good.
The GDSC Solution Challenge 2025, organized by Google, invites student developers worldwide to build solutions addressing one or more of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using Google technology.
Out of 64,000+ registrations and over 3,700 submissions, only 105 teams were shortlisted globally — with GHRCEM Pune’s student team achieving this distinction.
The students will now advance to the next phases, including the Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, prototype submission rounds from May 17 to June 1, and the final evaluation period between June 2–15. The final shortlist will be announced on June 16, and the Grand Finale is scheduled for mid-July 2025.
The students’ recognition was communicated by the Google Developers team, who applauded their impact-driven innovation and welcomed them into a global network of mentors, tech experts, and fellow changemakers.
